[lang_en]Operator 0.8 is out, enhancements in the UI options: auto-hide toolbar + location bar + sidebar etc; the upgrade does not save your preferences, the button to add support for other microformats seems disabled -too bad, I was just working on an hAtom thing…

CORRECTION: the hatom.js should be added in the ‘User Scripts’ tab of Operator’s preferences, not in the ‘Data Formats’ one as I was trying to do… works great now!

[lang_it]Rilasciata la versione 0.8 di Operator, l’estensione Firefox per gestire i vari microformats.
Il supporto nativo di tali costrutti HTML semantici nella versione 3.0 di Firefox sarà proprio basato sul codice di questo plugin;

Traspare la discussione in corso all’interno del team di sviluppo Mozilla riguardo all’interfaccia utente più funzionale per la versione finale;
oltre alla barra strumenti apposita della versione precedente (con opzione di auto-scomparsa) si è ora passati a 3 altre possibili visualizzazioni: nella barra indirizzo, barra laterale, barra inferiore del browser.

Anche le routine di base sembrano ancora in fase di rielaborazione selvaggia, dopo l’upgrade infatti le vs. preferenze saranno da risettare -poco male, trattasi massimo di una decina di check-box.

Invece sembra esser per ora disabilitata la possibilità di aggiungere script aggiuntivi per gestire Microformats non previsti fra quelli di default; peccato stavo giusto lavorando su hAtom…

CORREZIONE:  hatom.js và inserito in ‘User Scripts’, non in  ‘Data Formats’ come stavo tendando di fare l’altro giorno…
